Customize and Edit view columns and filters
Customize which columns and filters apply to a view and save your choices so the view shows you exactly what you want to see.
Customise which columns and filters build the view. You can add or remove columns, set filter conditions, resize and reorder columns, and save your choices so the view shows the contracts you need.
Customise columns in the contracts table
When you're on the default contracts list (no saved view selected):
- Use Edit fields to add or remove columns.
- Drag column headers to reorder columns.
- Resize columns by dragging the edge of a column header.
- Your choices apply to the contracts list until you change them or switch to a saved view.
The full list of standard fields on that platfrom that you can add as a column is available in this help article. Additionally, any custom fields that you may have setup on the contracts are also available to be added as columns.
Edit fields in views
When you have a saved view open:
- Use Edit fields to choose which columns are visible and in what order.
- Some columns are editable in the table: double-click a cell to edit where allowed.
- Drag column headers to reorder; drag the edge of a header to resize columns.
- Changes are saved with the view for everyone with access.
Update View (saved views table)
For a saved view, use Update View to change both filters and which fields (columns) appear:
- Update View opens a panel with two ways to add columns: Add New Field (create a custom field) and Add Existing Field (add a standard or existing custom field to the view).
- Use the Filters tab to set conditions (e.g. contract type, date range, status). Filters persist with the view when you save.
- Use the Fields tab to add or remove columns and drag to reorder. Column order and visibility are stored with the view.
Saving a view stores the current column order, column widths, and filters for everyone with access to that view.
