It is useful for:

Tabs and fields
1) Overview
The Overview tab is the high-level snapshot of the contract.
Typical fields include:
- Title
- Summary
- File name
- Source
- Category
- Primary counterparty
- Secondary counterparties
- Tags
- Contract owner
- Parent contract (when applicable)
Use this tab to understand the contract at a glance before moving into category-specific tabs.
2) Parties & Location
The Parties & Location tab focuses on who is involved and where obligations/legal context apply.
Typical fields include:
- Contracting parties (buyer/seller/counterparty details)
- Entity names and related party identifiers
- Addresses / country / region data
- Jurisdiction/location context used by your org
- Other party/location attributes configured in your environment

3) Term & Renewal
The Term & Renewal tab covers timing, lifecycle, and end-of-term behavior.
Typical fields include:
- Term (initial duration, e.g., 12 months / 2 years)
- Renewal (auto-renew yes/no, renewal period)
- Notice requirements (notice window and related language)
- Termination fields (termination timing / cause / convenience where available)
- Other term-related fields configured by your org (e.g., evergreen behavior, renewal cap)

4) Financials
The Financials tab contains money-related terms extracted from the contract.
Typical fields include:
- Contract value (total value, annualized vs total where available)
- Currency

- Other financial fields configured by your admin (e.g., budget code, cost center)

8) Invoices
The Invoices tab on a contract shows invoices linked to that contract and lets users link or unlink invoices (where enabled by your organization). This helps connect contract terms with actual spend and improves renewal and audit visibility.

- Which fields appear in each tab depends on:
- your organization’s configuration
- extracted data available in that contract
- your permissions
- Some fields are read-only; editable fields depend on role permissions and admin settings.
