Assign clause owners and send clauses for review/approval
You can assign users or non-users to review and edit specific clauses and provide approval.
Assigning clause owners
- Click Clause Library in the left sidebar to open your clause library.
- Select a contract type from the contract type dropdown in the left panel. You can search for a particular contract type here. The list of clauses for the selected contract type will be displayed.
- Select a clause for which you would like to assign owners and click on the Add owners button in the center panel to enter the email addresses of the clause owners. Click on Add and notify to send an email to the email addresses requesting clause review, or Cancel to undo the changes. Clause owners can be users as well as non-users.
- Once clause owners are assigned, they will receive an email with a secure link to edit the clause details, such as the clause name, type, text, and additional notes, after completing email-based OTP authentication.
- Once the clause owner makes edits and saves them, the corresponding clause will be updated in the system automatically.
You can send a clause for review any number of times by clicking the Send for review button.
