How do I navigate the app?
Use the left sidebar for primary navigation, Home for chat workflows, and the right sidebar for context-aware chat and settings tools.
The app has three navigation layers:
- Left sidebar for main pages
- Main content area for page work
- Right sidebar for chat or settings tools (depends on page)
Left sidebar (main navigation)
Use the left sidebar to move between primary sections:
- Contract Views – Open contract tables, existing views, and contract records
- Chat History – Reopen previous AI conversations
- Invoices – View uploaded invoices and matched contract context
- Gold Standard – Create/manage Gold Standards by contract type
- Clause Library – Manage clauses and version history tied to Gold Standards
- Admin – Admin-only area for users, roles, integrations, and workspace controls
- Account (your name) – Open Settings or Logout
Main content area
Home
Home is the place to start when you log in:
- Use Get Started prompts to quickly begin common tasks
- Start a new chat for contract analysis or Q&A
What chat can be used for
Use chat to:
- Summarize contracts or groups of contracts
- Ask questions about terms, risks, obligations, and key dates
- Compare contracts and surface patterns across views
- Explore invoice-to-contract context when working in invoice flows
Right sidebar (context-aware panel)
The right sidebar changes based on where you are:
- On contract/invoice/work pages, it opens as a Chat sidebar
- On settings pages, it switches to a Settings sidebar (page tools/settings navigation)
How chat uses page context
The chat sidebar automatically follows your current working context:
- Contract Views: uses selected contracts/rows and active view context
- Contract detail: focuses on the current contract
- Invoices: uses invoice context and linked contracts
- Multi-select states: uses selected Contracts/Invoices for chat context, in case users want to chat about specific records.
This lets you ask targeted questions without manually re-explaining what you are viewing.
Use sidebar links (or back button) to move between sections quickly.
