Can I perform bulk actions on contracts in a view?
Select multiple contracts in Contract Views and run actions like Compare, Reanalyze, Delete, Download, or Archive in one step.
Yes. If your role allows it, you can select multiple contracts in a view and apply actions to all selected rows at once.
Open a Contract View
- Go to Contract Views page
- Select a desired Contract View from the tabs
These actions can also be performed when multiple contracts are selected in Contracts table
Select contracts
- Use row checkboxes to select one or more contracts
- Use Select all (if shown) to select all rows on the page or current filtered result
- Check the selection counter (for example, “3 selected”) before running actions
Run a bulk action
Common bulk actions include:
- Compare — Opens Chat with a comparison across selected contracts (terms, dates, payment details, and key differences)
- Reanalyze — Re-runs AI analysis to refresh risks, obligations, and extracted insights
(typically available in Contracts tab only) - Delete — Permanently removes selected contracts (requires delete permission)
- Download — Exports selected contracts and/or metadata (such as CSV), when enabled
- Archive — Moves selected contracts out of active lists into archived state, when enabled
Confirm and review results
- Confirm the action in the dialog before execution
- Actions apply only to selected contracts, not all contracts in the workspace
- Filters/search help narrow selection, but do not change unrelated records
- If some items fail (permissions, validation, locked records), you may see partial success with per-contract errors
Tips
- Apply filters first, then bulk-select to avoid mistakes
- Double-check selection count before destructive actions (Delete/Archive)
- If an action is missing, your role may not include that permission
