Clauses and gold standard comparison

The app does not have a separate Clauses tab. Clause-level comparison and gold standard features are available from the contract detail toolbar and from the Ask sidebar.

Compare with Gold Standard

• On the contract detail page, use the Compare with Gold Standard button in the toolbar (code-compare icon). You need the compare_with_gold_standard permission.
• Clicking it runs the comparison and opens the Ask sidebar with a Gold Standard Analysis tab. There you see how this contract’s clauses match or differ from your organization’s gold standard.
• You can also select one contract in Contract Views and use Compare with Gold Standard from the toolbar to open the same flow.

Adding a clause to the gold standard

• From contract detail, when viewing extracted content (e.g. in Obligations or other category content), you may see an Add to Gold Standard option in a dropdown or context menu. Use it to add that clause to an existing gold standard or create a new one. This requires the appropriate admin permission.
• Gold standard management (create, edit, delete standard clauses and contracts) is done in Admin → Contract Types (per-type gold standard) and Admin → Generate Gold Standard (or Gold Standard panel).

You need view_operational_terms (and compare_with_gold_standard for comparison) to use these features. Use gold standard comparison for compliance checks and standardizing language across agreements.
