Reanalyze contracts (Admin)
Re-run extraction on contracts to update metadata and clauses. Use reanalyze when the source document has changed or when you want to refresh extracted data.
Reanalyze runs the extraction pipeline again on selected contracts to refresh metadata, clauses, and other extracted data. Use it after improving extraction logic, adding new fields, or fixing source documents.
Where to run it
- Admin → Reanalyze Contracts (or "Reanalyze" in the settings sidebar).
- You may see options to reanalyze all contracts, by contract type, by view, or a specific list. Select the scope and start the job.
What happens
- The system re-reads the contract document (from the app or from the connected source) and re-extracts fields and clauses using the current pipeline.
- Existing data may be overwritten (depending on configuration). Manual edits to extracted fields might be preserved or reset; check with your deployment.
- Reanalysis can be resource-intensive. Large batches may run in the background; you may get a notification or status page when done.
Use reanalyze when you've updated gold standards, contract types, or extraction rules and want the app to reflect those changes across the portfolio. If sync from source is enabled, ensure source files are up to date before reanalyzing.
