Plugins and add-ins (Admin)
Enable add-ins such as Word or Google Docs. Configure plugins and add-ins so users can work with contracts from within their preferred editors and tools.
Plugins (or "Enable add-ins") in Admin typically control browser or desktop add-ins that let users work with Contracts AI from another tool (e.g. Microsoft Word or Google Docs).
What might be configured
- Word add-in – If your org has a Contracts AI add-in for Word, admins may enable it for the organization and control which users or roles can use it. The add-in might insert clauses, pull from gold standard, or open contract context from within a document.
- Google Docs add-on – Similar idea for Google Docs: enable/disable and assign access.
- Other integrations – Any other plug-in or extension that talks to Contracts AI may be toggled or configured here.
User experience
- Users with access install or open the add-in from Word or Google Docs (via the add-ins menu or marketplace). They can then use Contracts AI features without leaving the document.
If you don't see a Plugins panel, your deployment may not include add-ins. Check your contract or implementation guide for available plugins.
